Well, I'm a waterfall addict. I heard that Biliran (an island located in the Eastern Visayas) is abundant of waterfalls so I started planning. I gathered all the information needed. I equipped myself with knowledge about this place because I don't want to waste my time thinking what to do next. I always make it a point to prepare everything. This place is quite far from the main road. There was a caretaker. She told us that the next waterfalls which is the "Recoletos Falls" can't be reached because the bridge was broken due to the typhoon "Yolanda" so it might be impossible for us to go through. Well, it scared me because I really, realy love seeing it. The good news was my tour guide told me that maybe we can do it. On our way to Ulan Ulan Falls, I've noticed that the soil was made of clay. Wow!!! I've seen pineapple plants and coconut trees.I was enjoying my trip despite the fact that I wore an inappropriate attire for this trek. Well, I don't really like wearing shoes because I'm comfortable wearing slippers. Going back to my trip, The route wasn't clear because it was partially destroyed by the typhoon. So my tour guide made it sure that we were following the exact route. There were so many trees at that time and the road was slippery. When we climbed, I fell down twice but I still managed to smile. I didn't take it seriously coz I know it was part of my trip. We followed the wrong route but then my tour guide realized it immediately. Luckily, we were able to find the right route. It wasn't easy getting to this place. You need to be more careful, but it was worth all the effort when I saw the waterfalls. It was so wide and huge. I was totally wet but it didn't bother me. I took off my slippers coz I don't think I'd make it to the next waterfalls which lies above. We sat there for awhile. Took a lot of pictures. I was like a frog that moved freely from one stone to the other . I even took a closer look to this huge waterfalls. I said to myself that I didn't want to come back home yet. Well, reality time, we climbed to reach the next waterfalls which is called "REcoletos Falls". It was tough, really togh but I made it. The caretaker was right the bridge was broken , but there was a bamboo stick that lied in the water so we grabbed it. My tour guide headed first. Then he helped me. The good thing was the water's pressure wasn't so strong. I didn't feel a single fear crossing it I was totally excited and can't keep my eyes on it. I was able to take a picture while crossing it. Then later on I found myself beside this waterfalls with my feet soaked in it. I felt great!!!!!
